A rose by any other name would smell as sweet

Wow, I haven't posted anything for a few weeks now. I've been swamped with projects and papers & i had spring break. Trying to get back into the grove of things. I recently bought some nail art off of eBay and couldn't wait to do a mani with it. The possibilities are endless. I used Essie Mod Square. Its a hot pink creme. The shade of pink reminds me of Barbie. Its absolute adorable alone but i wanted to do something a little more fun for spring.I think this would have looked better with a lighter pink but i didnt have any. Oh Wells. Who isn't a big fan of the leopard print?!  For this design, i wanted something subtle but still pops & of course another reason for me to use Matte About You. :D

1 more week till spring break!! yay! then to tahoe and UCD's picnis day. anywho. i was in a whimsical mood and did this powdery blue Essie - Lapis of Luxury &cute stamp tips. i think for next time, I'll stamp the design on top.

Maroon Butterfly Nails

Its been awhile since i did a french mani, Not exactly favorite but it will do for the time being. A few weeks ago,I got Viva La Nails sample pack. Its free-ish, you just have to pay for shipping which was bout $5 for me. First time using the nail art stickers because i couldnt think of a mani to use them for. The butterfly was a water nail sticker, so you have to soak it in water to remove it from the paper.  As i waited for it to dry before putting on my top coat, is sort ripped. :x Turned out better on the other hand but m nails are still growing out so it looks super ugly.

HOW TO SAVE YOUR URBAN DECAY PRIMER POTION

Anyone knows that if you want your eyeshadow to last, need a base/primer. I have Urban Decay Primer potion. It comes in this cute genie like bottle. Aesthetically pleasing but not convenient. There are a few blogs/post/youtube video's out there that shows you how to decant you UDPP. I figured since im out of UDPP, i'd cut mine and salvage whatever is left. If you're smart, I recommend just using pliers and pulling the stopper out

If you are feeling ambitious like i was then here is what you need:
*Knife (do not use a razor blade like i did - ended up with cuts)
*An empty container to put your primer in; an old jar or buy an empty one
I grabbed a stila twist up lip gloss pen opened it and cleaned it out

So at the widest part of the bottle, cut into it and this is what you find. I was a shocked to find out that i had all this product & to think i was going to throw it away.

Take your container and fill it. Mines was a bit messy but it worked out. i still had some left over, so i put it into a small lip balm jar to use. The pen holds about 2.4 ml. I'm going to guesstimate and say you have at least 3.5 ml of product left in that bottle.
